  LFiber cleaving: - Place each stripped end into respective slots on cleaver tool ensuring proper alignment. - Apply gentle pressure until fibers break cleanly at desired location leaving flat ends ready for fusion splicing. - Discard any loose debris generated during cleaving process. - Repeat steps 4 & 5 with other end.    Fusion splicing: - Align cleaved ends carefully inside fusion splicer machine. - Activate fusion splicer according manufacturer's instructions. - After successful fusion splice , inspect splice point visually under microscope - If splice point passes inspection , proceed next step . Otherwise repeat steps 6 &7  Jacketing :/u11> Carefully slide heat shrink tubing over fused portion. Apply heat evenly around tubing using hot air gun until it shrinks tightly around jacketed portion. Allow sufficient cooling time before handling connected cable.
